Love Poems as Love Duets

Love Poems as Love Duets

Attention, all you lovers, sweethearts, lonely singles, newly weds, and old timers still in love. The Candlelight Reading Series will be at it again. This month to honor Saint Valentine, the patron of love and friendship, with “Love Poems as Love Duets” on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 8 PM at Revelations Cafe & Bookstore, upstairs, 112 N Main Street, Fairfield, Iowa.

Freddy Niagara Fonseca and Karen Carter will present an exquisite selection of love poems from all over the world. They’ll share with you the whole enchilada of love and friendship, from the heart break we all know so well to deep fulfilment and crazy, all-encompassing love. All the poems on the program will be recited in the form of duets.

Additionally, the two winners of the love poetry contest, Michael Sternfeld and Carol Olicker will come read their winning poem.

Chocolate and heart cookies will be served. A love donation of $2 will be appreciated.
