Celtic Poetry
The Candlelight Reading Series presents selections of Celtic Poetry by Dylan Thomas, William Butler Yeats, Thomas Moore and others, including an excerpt from a Lughnasadh ceremony as written and celebrated by the Order Of Bards, Ovates and Druids in England this week on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 at 8 PM at Revelations, upstairs.
Your host, as usual, is poet & impresario Freddy Niagara Fonseca. This time, he has invited poet & playwright Michael Johnson, and artist & Druid Gale Park to recite with him.
You will also hear some historic recordings recited by Dylan Thomas, Siobhan McKenna and Cyril Cusack, as well as a few original poems by Michael and Freddy. Everyone is invited.
