Songs, Poems and Stories of the Sea
In many spiritual traditions, the ocean has been equated with creativity and the infinite. The setting of the next event in the Candlelight Reading Series on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 8 PM at Revelations, upstairs is as follows: five guitarists, a poet and a story teller are sitting in a circle around intimate candlelight in the middle of the room. The audience will be seated around the performers who will be celebrating the sea and various aspects of water with songs, poems and stories.
Poet Freddy Niagara Fonseca will be joined by story teller Tracy Chipman, guitarists David & Carol Carlisle, John Schirmer, David Hawthorne, and Rob Anibal for an unusual and exquisite odyssey on waves of music, poetry, and ancient tales. Come and enjoy! Admission is free.
